Alipurduar Ashutosh B.Ed. Colleges is sponsored and managed by Mrinmay Educational & Social Development Society, a newly established educational trust. Since its inception in 2017, the activities of the trust have been spearheaded by its Founder Chairman, Mr. Mrinmay Bhattachariya, a reputed entrepreneur, educationist and a well-known personality of Alipurduar. After getting success from various fields he had dreamt to extend his service in the field of education, especially in the field of teacher training.
It gives us great pleasure to note that the Alipurduar Ashutosh B.Ed. College has successfully completed its 1st academic year. The College was established with the intention to provide continuous updated education in a congenial environment to the upcoming teachers of this region. Initially, we encountered with lot of establishment issues & we were skeptical about the acceptance of this college. We would like to convey thanks to our students and their parents for wholeheartedly embracing the new college. At the end of the 1stacademic year we have witnessed the positive energy amongst the students and staff. Our aim is to ensure excellence in teacher education as well as development of an all-around personality of our all students. We welcome you to join with us in this mission

Eligibility
Academic Council of Alipurduar Ashutosh B.Ed. College was formed on. This is the highest academic body which directs the academic functions and curriculum transaction of the institute as per the guidelines of the affiliating & recognizing authority. This body is responsible for the maintenance of standards of instruction,curriculum transaction, education and examination within the Institution. It advises on all academic matters as and when required.
COMPOSITION
The Academic Council comprises:
i) Principal/T.I.C. of the College as the Advisor of the Body ii) Two Academic Coordinators for B.Ed. & D.El.Ed. nominated by the Principal/T.I.C. iii) 2 teachers from both, B.Ed. & D.El.Ed. sections of the college nominated by the concerned heads
TERM: One year on rotation, except for advisory member/s.
FUNCTION:
• Preparing Academic Calendar before commencement of Classes • Distribution of Syllabus among Teachers before commencement of Classes • Preparing Time Table before commencement of Classes • Arrangement of Classrooms • Management of Regular classes & Stopgaps • Record Maintenance of Student Attendance • Record Maintenance of Regular Classes & all other academic activities • Publishing Monthly Status of Academic Progress • Maintaining Files, Registers & all other documents related to Academics • To exercise general supervision over the academic activities of the College for improvement of academic standards • Any unidentified activities related to Academics
MEETING
The Academic Council shall ordinarily meet at least once in a half year with a fifteen day notice by the Principal/ for each meeting. An extraordinary meeting may be convened by the Principal/T.I.C. as and when necessary.

Likes
The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very
friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get
placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the
campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our
college placement cell.they try their best for every student's
placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of
visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our
college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is
commendable.they want to give every student propers training and
teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their
desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is
awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms
are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Alipurduar Ashutosh B.ED College ,kolkata is a good institute for
engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college
is having well equipped labs.
