A. M. Teachers’ Training institute offers composite programme both D.El.Ed and B.Ed teachers education programmes to prepare teachers both for elementary and secondary stages of West Bengal. The Institute was established in the year 2013 to impart D.El.Ed programme and got recognition and affiliation in the year 2014. Subsequently the institute had applied for additional D.El.Ed programme and B.Ed progamme and got recognition from ERC NCTE from the academic session 2016-17. This institute is not far from Berhampore city and is situated adjacent to NH-34 also. It is very nearer to Nimtita Railway station . The institute is very convenient for the students to pursue their studies. The institute is co-education nature and is managed by a registered society smoothly. The climate of the institute is very congenial both for the faculty members and students. Proper interaction and coordination are observed among the students and teachers.

50% in UG/PG for GEN/OBC and 45% in UG/PG for SC/ST.
A minimum of 50% is necessary to graduate from a recognized university. The candidates must be at least 21 years old at the time of application. By the regulations, students from the reserved category will receive a reduction in the needed total percentage.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our college placement cell.they try their best for every student's placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is commendable.they want to give every student propers training and teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.

Well, the basic requirement for the admission in B.Ed is 50% marks either in graduation or post-graduation so unfortunately you cann’t do B.Ed but there is another option to become a Teacher. You can do JBT or D.Ed, the admission requirement is 50% in 10+2 standard (higher secondary school examination).
Yes, any student who has a valid UGC approved degree (i.e. BA, B.Com, BCA, BBA, BALLB etc) is eligible for the admission in B.Ed course in West Bengal. The student must have at least 50% aggregate marks in that degree.
