It is a renowned B.Ed & D.El.Ed composite college in West Bengal run and managed by Mahismari Rural Foundation. Admission started : Tentatively from May to June every academic year Academic Session Stared : 1st July Admission Process : Application through University Intake Capacity : 100 (Two Units) Available Method Subject : (1) Bengali, (2) English, (3) Sanskrit, (4) History, (5) Geography, (6) Mathematics, (7) Physical Science, (8) Life Science Eligibility : Minimum Qualification Required for entry into B.Ed Course is Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Commerce(B.Com.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E/B.Tech.) & Any Master’s Degree from a Recognised Board/University with at least 50% marks. (For S.C/S.T the Required Marks is 45%). Selection of candidates will be strictly on merit basis as per W.B.U.T.T.E.P.A. norms, Names of the selected candidates will be displayed in the University/Institute Website.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our college placement cell.they try their best for every student's placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is commendable.they want to give every student propers training and teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Deshbandhu B.Ed College ,kolkata is a good institute for engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college is having well equipped labs.
