At the moment, the annual intake is limited to 60 seats. In the year 2015, the first batch of GNM students graduated with honours. The school has its building with centralized air conditioning, 10 lecture halls, 7 laboratories, A.V. aids and faculty rooms, H.O.D rooms, conference rooms, and a multipurpose hall, among other physical facilities. Every laboratory is well-equipped. The exam follows the curriculum of the Indian and West Bengal Nursing Councils.

Course Name: General Nursing and Midwifery
The GitaRam School of Nursing was founded in 2018 on the extended campus of the GitaRam Hospital in Berhampore, Murshidabad. The Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery course is being launched by the school to prepare clinical Nurse practitioners, which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and West Bengal Nursing Council(WBNC).
The duration of General Nursing & Midwifery’s 3 years is divided into theoretical training, and six months of compulsory internship. This is appropriate for anyone who wants to aid sick people and doctors in different hospitals.

The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our college placement cell.they try their best for every student's placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is commendable.they want to give every student propers training and teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
