10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council. Students shall be medically fit.
General Nursing and Midwifery(GNM)
GNM is a three-year and six-month diploma course designed for aspirants who want to pursue a career in clinical nursing. The programme teaches candidates how to care for individuals who are sick or have been injured in order to help them attain full recovery.
GNM Career Options and Job Prospects
Nursing is full-time occupation and candidates who have acquired the required skills and education in the field of care-taking and nursing can take up jobs at hospitals, clinics, health departments or can work as a private health care-taker. GNM diploma holders can also take up community services and can work for NGOs that spread medical awareness or help the sick. The salaries offered after the GNM courses can vary from Rs. 1.5 lakh to Rs. 3 lakh. Some government jobs pay better packages to freshers who complete this course. The course curriculum is great and the faculty members are very friendly they help a lot and guide us in a very good manner.
Placements from our college is average.almost 55% students get placements in campus interview.others do not qualify in the campus.some of our college teachers are the members of our college placement cell.they try their best for every student's placements.
My faculty right from the first semester took us for plenty of visits to various hotels as well as to a food truck factory.
Well experienced and talented faculties are there in our college.their way of teaching and devotion to study is commendable.they want to give every student propers training and teaching so that after passing out they can easily get their desired job.
No i am not residing in the hostel, but the hostel here is awesome , the rooms are provided on sharing basis and the rooms are air-conditioned ,food provided in hostel is also very good.
Rangamati Institute of Nursing ,kolkata is a good institute for engineering.i got admitted in the college this year ,the college is having well equipped labs.
